Room 3 made Kites to celebrate Matariki this week!
1. First we coloured in our Kites. We put seven stars on them.
2. Then we made tails for our kites. We wove two pieces of crepe paper together.
3. Next we put our bamboo sticks together and tied string around them.
4. Last we glued our kites and tails to the sticks.
Making and learning about Matariki was awesome!
